This August the World Health Organization organized the GREAT Summit promoted by the Global Cooperation on Assistive Technology (GATE) network. In this occasion, on behalf of the GLIC network, the Living Lab presented a poster summarizing our activities to promote AT outcome evaluation and the work done so far to achieve a common way to assess the outcomes of any AT intervention in the Italian context.
The GATE initiative of the World Health Organization aims at improving access to high-quality affordable assistive products globally. As a first step the initiative has published a brief to identify strategic research priorities for the GATE initiative. Evert-Jan Hoogerwerf, head of our Project Office, participated as a memeber of the core group that drafted the document.
